Our Staff’s Favourite Things to do in Summer Squamish 2022

With the summer weather finally coming out, it is time to share the 2022 Rope Runner Aerial Park’s  favourite summer activities recommended by our team members. Each team member this year has chosen their favourite Squamish Summer activity to share with our guests! We have a variety of options ranging  from our favourite summer sweet treats, free activities, paid excursions, and our favourite secluded Squamish spots.

Skylar – Sailing with Canadian Coastal Sailing for the outdoor adventure lover, while also wanting some down time to relax, this is the perfect excursion for you and your family, or the most ideal date night. You have to check out their Sunset Sailing option!

Ray – Loves to visit the Squamish Farmers Market that is held by the community on Saturday mornings located on Cleveland Ave. The farmers market is full of local artisan vendors and farmers selling the best produce that you can find in the Sea to Sky corridor.

Megan – Enjoying the fresh fruit ice cream from Alice and Brohm is one of my favourite activities in Squamish. They are open in the winter and the summer but, nothing is more delicious than a fresh fruit ice cream cone after a long hot summer day.

Shondra – When our axe-throwing host extraordinaire is not throwing axes with Squamish Axe Throwing, she can be found rocking out to some tunes on Friday nights at the Sea to Sky Gondola. On Friday evenings, the Sea to Sky gondola does Live Music featuring some spectacular artists.

Matt – As the Dad of the Rope Runner team, his favourite activity is spending time with his family at Fishermans Beach located in Brackendale, BC. This beach is along the river and offers the perfect spot for some afternoon relaxation, a quick dip in the glacier river and even some eagle watching!

Naniesha – Rafting with Canadian Outback Rafting! It was a highlight of the summer for me and I wish I could do it a million times over. Would recommend this activity for any new visitors to Squamish as you learn lots about the Squamish environment while simultaneously having a great adventure!

Henry – The best way to cool off after a long summer day is to visit Brohm Lake for the ultimate refresher. It is not only beautiful but, after a long filled day of climbing at Rope Runner Park, the best summer activity is a summer dip. But, check out Brohm Lake if you want a gorgeous backdrop for that mid-afternoon cool down!
