About

The Inspiration for Rope Runner came when a group of rad people from different backgrounds came together to create something new and totally unique in the area. One of our founders travelled the world with Cirque du Soleil and wanted to continue spreading happiness and well-being through aerial adventures, while providing an outstanding guest experience to cherish forever.

The Sea to Sky area is well known as an adventure capital. Our team consists of outdoor adrenaline junkies who love to bike, climb, hike, and ride big mountains. But they felt that there was something missing here in our own backyard that was accessible and safe, something that didn’t require special gear, a ton of money, or experience.

Something that would enable people to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, empower them and leave them smiling. Why not create a fun and unique experience for all right here in Squamish? And so… the idea for Rope Runner Aerial Park was born!

Rope Runner Ladies Calling on Courage Squamish

We began the construction of our 60ft high ropes course in 2017, and opened our doors to the public in September that same year. The Park features 50 elements of varying difficulties with no set course so guests can then explore the park at their own pace and comfort level. We use the CLiC-iT Safety System which has a unique feature that ensures guests are continuously attached to the safety cable at all times.

Whether you’re looking for family fun, birthday parties, team building activities or something unique to do for your bachelor or bachelorette parties, we’re a great option for tons of laughs and adrenaline. We’re a small, local and passionate team who wants everyone to have access to a fun and safe outdoor adventure.

Next time you’re in Squamish be sure to swing by and come #defygravity with us! We’re only a short drive from Vancouver and conveniently located just off Highway 99 behind the Squamish Adventure Centre.
